Day 1:

 

 Welcome to Ljubljana!

 

Arrive in Ljubljana- the capital of Slovenia. Ljubljana's name, which means "beloved," reflects its charm and romantic character.

 

The city has a rich blend of architectural styles, from Baroque and Renaissance to Art Nouveau and Art Deco, shaped by figures like Jože Plečnik.

 

Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by tour guide, who will guide you to your hotel and facilitate a smooth check-in process.

 

Later, enjoy a wonderful welcome dinner with your fellow travellers and Tour Manager. Overnight stay at the hotel in Ljubljana. (Dinner).

 

​Day 02:

 

Day trip to Bled- Lake Bled Castle - Lake Bled boat ride Ljubljana guided city tour

 

Embark on a day trip from Ljubljana to the enchanting Lake Bled, a jewel nestled in the Julian Alps. Experience the beauty of your surroundings as you discover the highlights of the area and beautiful scenery.

 

Visit Bled Castle Slovenia's oldest castle over lake Bled with a museum collection and the oldest printing point from medieval times. Its above 130 metres high rock cliff with breathtaking views over the lake and the nearby Alps with dreamy view.

 

A highlight of trip will be a ride on a traditional pletna boat to the church of the Assumption on Slovenia's only island! You will hear the loud voices of merchants calling for customers to fill their wooden boats.

 

Later, proceed back to Ljubljana and enjoy the guided tour of the city. You’ll pass by the most popular sights while learning about the city’s history, architecture, and culture from your guide.

 

See highlights such as Dragon Bridge, Prešeren Square, the Triple Bridge, the Central Market designed by Jože Plečnik, the National and University Library and many more.

Day 03:

 

Ljubljana - Postojna caves tour - Zadar

 

After breakfast, check out and start your journey to Postojna Caves.

Upon arrival, hop aboard the electric mini-train and voyage into this cave along a rail system. Learn about how calcites, stalagmites, and stalactites were formed by the Pivka river in this network of caves.

 

Uncovers the fascinating world of an unusual amphibian known as the blind salamanders or referred to locally as “human fish” that wander the subsurface rivers within. Then continue your journey to Zadar. Home to a historic old town of Roman ruins, medieval churches, cosmopolitan cafes and quality museums set on a small peninsula, Zadar is an intriguing city.

Day 04:

 

Guided tour of Zadar - Split - Guided tour of Split

 

After check out, discover the history and culture of Zadar on this incredible tour.

Day 05:

Split - Hvar Island - Guided tour of Hvar - Dubrovnik

 

Today, we will depart for Hvar Island. Sail on ferry from Split to Hvar Island.

Upon arrival, step into Hvar’s rich past on this guided tour through cobbled streets and iconic landmarks. Hear captivating stories brought to life by your local licensed guide and discover hidden gems along the way.

​Day 06:

 

Full day guided tour of Kotor & Budva Today, we will explore the medieval charm of Kotor and the coastal beauty of Budva on a day trip from Dubrovnik.

 

Kotor is a historic coastal town in Montenegro, famous for its UNESCO-listed medieval Old Town, stunning bay, and surrounding mountains. Explore the town and its main attractions, including the Square of Arms, Pima Palace, Clock Tower, St. Tryphon Cathedral- built in 1166, Beskuca Palace and more.

 

Next, head to Budva, a charming seaside city in Montenegro known for its 2,500-year-old Old Town, beautiful beaches, vibrant nightlife and lively atmosphere.

 

Visit the Marina (Yacht Port), the Budva Dancer- the unofficial symbol of the city and Budva Old Town. See the attractions such as the St. Ivan church, the small church of St. Mary and the medieval splendors of the old town.

Day 07:

 

Guided tour of Dubrovnik – Mostar - Guided tour of Mostar

Visit the city’s major landmarks and hear stories of how Dubrovnik became one of the world’s most prosperous and advanced republics. Begin near the Pile Gate, at the storied western entrance to the Old Town, and explore Dubrovnik’s most significant historical landmarks.

Mostar - Sarajevo guided tour – Plitvice Lakes

 

Check out your hotel and proceed towards Sarajevo- known as Jerusalem of Europe, a vibrant city famous for its lively atmosphere and unique blend of Eastern and Western cultures. On arrival, enjoy guided tour of Sarajevo city.

 

See the Eternal Flame Monument, devoted to Yugoslav People's Army, experience Bascarsija Square, an open-air market built in the 15th century.

 

Visit the wooden fountain of Sebilj, one of the main symbols of Sarajevo and the renovated city hall. Find out about the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and World War 1. Next, continue your journey to Plitvice Lake.

 

Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia is a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its 16 interconnected turquoise lakes and numerous waterfalls. Upon arrival, rest at the comfort of your hotel.

Day 09:

 

Visit Plitvice Lakes National Park – Zagreb - Guided tour of Zagreb

 

After breakfast, check out and visit Plitvice Lakes National Park- the oldest and largest national park in the Republic of Croatia. The park covers more than 300 square kilometers and is famous for its beautiful waterfalls, crystal-clear lakes, and lush vegetation. Discover the 16 picturesque lakes by boat, wander through the lush green forests, and admire the flowing cascades and waterfalls.

 

Explore the trail between the upper and lower waterfalls. Take stunning pictures by the water and discover flowing springs, flowering meadows, and mysterious caves as you stroll along some of the picturesque walkways of the park.

 

Later proceed for Zagreb, the capital and largest city of Croatia, known for its blend of historical charm and modern flair.

Each itinerary is designed with due care and skill, taking into account attractions, logistics, and unique experiences to maximise value and enjoyment.

We aim to deliver the itinerary as advertised; however, minor adjustments may be required to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the tour. We recommend carrying only one checked bag and one handbag per person, due to limited storage space in the coach. Our Tour Manager or local representatives will assist you during the tour. In some cases, you may be asked to join another group if your group does not meet the minimum required number of participants. A local representative or your coach driver may only be available to assist you during the initial part of the tour. Land surcharges may apply on certain departure dates, and these will be communicated in advance. If some attractions or excursions are unavailable/closed, we will arrange for alternate sightseeing options. Please be aware that the tour itinerary may change on certain departure dates. In some cases, the tour may follow a reverse route. However, no planned sightseeing or excursions will be omitted unless they are closed due to holidays. Your Tour Manager will keep you informed.

Accommodation

Accommodation listed is indicative and subject to availability. In the event of changes, alternative accommodation of an equal or higher standard will be provided where reasonably possible. Person under the age of 12 is considered as children for the entirety of the tour. For the third guest in a triple room, most hotels provide rollaway beds, and the room size may be similar to that of a double room. Local taxes, entry fees, and services are based on rates as of October 1, 2025.

Bedding configurations (twin or double) are requests only and cannot be guaranteed. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate preferences; however, allocations are subject to supplier availability.

Single Supplement

A single supplement will apply per person applies in addition to the twin-share price for travellers requesting sole occupancy of a room. This supplement is subject to availability at the time of booking.

Physical Requirements

This tour requires a moderate level of physical fitness. Travellers should be comfortable with:

  • Walking distances of approximately 2 kilometres or more per day

  • Navigating stairs, uneven terrain, and heritage sites

  • Boarding and disembarking from coaches, boats, and other forms of transport

Travellers must disclose any medical conditions, mobility limitations, or special requirements at the time of booking. This allows us to assess suitability and make reasonable recommendations. Failure to disclose relevant information may impact your ability to participate in certain activities.

If minimum numbers are not reached, we reserve the right to amend or cancel the tour in accordance with our booking terms. In such cases, customers will be notified in a reasonable timeframe and offered appropriate options in line with the Australian Consumer Law.

Tour Confirmation & Flights

Instructions for Arrival & Departure Transfers: Ljubljana (LJU Airport) Arrival Transfer – For complimentary transfers, your flight landing time should be between 08 AM – 02 PM. Transfer will be at 16.00 hrs Zagreb (ZAG Airport) Departure Transfer: The coach will drop at Zagreb Airport by 1100 AM. Please ensure that your flight is booked accordingly to match this schedule.

Passport Information

It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they meet all passport and visa requirements.

  • Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended return date

  • A minimum of two blank pages is required.

 

Australian Passport Holders

Australian passport holders require a visa to enter. An e-Visa can be obtained prior to travel. Passports must be valid for at least 150 days from the date of entry.

Visa and entry requirements are subject to change without notice. Travellers should confirm current requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official government source prior to departure.

Children

Please get in touch with us if you have children under 7 years of age so we can arrange accordingly. 

Travel insurance is strongly recommended. While travel insurance is not mandatory, travellers may be required to present proof of coverage during the tour by suppliers or local authorities.

Travel insurance can assist with unforeseen circumstances such as medical emergencies, cancellations, or disruptions.

Critical Guidelines: Transfers and sightseeing tours, including entrance fees as specified in the itinerary, will be conducted in an air-conditioned coach. In the event of significant delays or strict driving regulations, a packed dinner may be provided for that day. Please confirm final details with your Sales Representative. If taxes in Europe increase, the price may be adjusted accordingly, and the change will be explained. Tours will operate subject to all Government regulations Some trips are based on a minimum number of people travelling. If a trip fails to satisfy minimum numbers, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled. We will advise you at least 30 days prior to the trip’s scheduled commencement.
