About the itinerary

 

Built by our specialists for maximum value and enjoyment — but minor adjustments may occasionally be needed to keep the tour running smoothly and safely. If an attraction is closed, we'll swap in an equally great alternative, and your Tour Manager will keep you posted every step of the way. On rare occasions the route may run in reverse, or you may join another group if numbers require it — but no planned sightseeing is ever dropped (except for holiday closures).

Packing tip: stick to one checked bag + one handbag per person — coach storage is limited.

Your accommodation Stay centrally in a 4-star hotel (or equivalent/better, if changes are needed). Twin or double bedding is requested on your behalf but can't be guaranteed — we do our best to accommodate you.

Kids under 12 are considered children for the full tour, and a third guest in a triple room typically gets a rollaway bed in a double-sized room.

Rates reflect local taxes and fees as of October 1, 2025.

Travelling solo? A single supplement applies for sole occupancy, subject to availability at booking.

Getting around comfortably This tour moves at a moderate pace — expect ~2km of walking a day, some stairs and uneven heritage terrain, and boarding coaches/boats along the way. Have a medical condition or mobility need? Just tell us at booking so we can look after you properly — this helps us confirm the trip is the right fit and set you up for success.​

Passports & visas

• Valid for 6+ months beyond your return date, with 2 blank pages minimum

• Australian passport holders: e-Visa required, valid for 150+ days from entry

Travelling with young children? Let us know if you're bringing kids under 7 so we can plan ahead for them.

Peace of mind Travel insurance isn't mandatory but is strongly recommended — and some suppliers or local authorities may ask to see proof of coverage. It's there for you if plans change unexpectedly.

• Major delays may mean a packed dinner instead of a sit-down meal — your Sales Rep will confirm details

• If European taxes rise, pricing may adjust accordingly (with a clear explanation)

• Some trips need a minimum number of travellers — if that's not met, we'll notify you 30+ days out with your options.

Tour Confirmation & Flights

​

Instructions for Arrival & Departure Transfers: London (LHR Airport) Arrival Transfer: For complimentary transfers, your flight should land between 08:00 AM and 02:00 PM. The transfer will be scheduled for 4:00 PM. Rome (FCO Airport) Departure Transfer: The coach will drop passengers at FCO Airport by 11:00 AM. Please ensure that your flight is booked accordingly to match this schedule.

Passport Information

It is the traveller’s responsibility to ensure they meet all passport and visa requirements.

• Passports must be valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended return date

• A minimum of two blank pages is required.

 

Australian Passport Holders

​

Australian passport holders require a visa to enter . An e-Visa can be obtained prior to travel. Passports must be valid for at least 150 days from the date of entry.

Visa and entry requirements are subject to change without notice. Travellers should confirm current requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate, or official government source prior to departure.

Critical Guidelines:

 

Transfers and sightseeing tours, including entrance fees as specified in the itinerary, will be conducted in an air-conditioned coach. In the event of significant delays or strict driving regulations, a packed dinner may be provided for that day. Please confirm final details with your Sales Representative. If taxes in Europe increase, the price may be adjusted accordingly, and the change will be explained. Tours will operate subject to all Government regulations Some trips are based on a minimum number of people travelling. If a trip fails to satisfy minimum numbers, the trip may be cancelled or rescheduled. We will advise you at least 30 days prior to the trip’s scheduled commencement.
